Living in a Fishbowl!

Living in a fishbowl really sucks!
Someone watches every move I make...
Every breathe I take...
Every word I say...
My used to be colorful world...
Has turned into black and grey....
Finding an escape has crossed my mind...
Smashing the fishbowl is the fastest way...but it might cost my life
The best way is to find another fishbowl....before I jump and say goodbye
Hoping the new fishbowl would be as colorful as this...
and no one is watching me all the time...
I need to start finding ways before I end up... LIFELESS

Titillating Ads!

Big corporate companies are willing to spend millions of moolah just to produce the right ad that would make their product sell like pancakes.
What makes the ad effective?
People would end up singing their jingle, wearing their brand, spoofs of the commercial or poster, hearing lines of the commercial from a 3 year old and of course winning awards.

It takes great minds and creativity to produce such a thing but there are also low-budget ads that catches the attention of consumers...it was badly done or really titillating....(i called it that because TITILI ka talaga sa tawa or inis pag nakita mo).

Here are some of the ads I spotted on the internet:
I am sure most have seen this on the high-way. I find it really funny because I know how it sucks getting the wrong tattoo
I can't stop laughing seeing this oh so gay ad!
Soooo fafalicious...... Here is another gay ad and I am sure most know mojo jojo
He must be really pissed seeing his own fake ad...
Now who the hell is this guy or should I say gay dude?
To save the best for last...Jollibee finally showed his true colors! Awww, what a lovely couple

If you know any more funny ads, please add it up :)

CIBO Birthday Dinner

It was my sister's 40th birthday and we had dinner at CIBO in promenade, greenhills.
I used to eat there a lot years ago but in a different branch and still remember how good it tasted especially my favorite LINGUINE AL NERO.....
and the best pica pica SPINACI ZOLA....
We started our meal with Patatine Fritte, Spinaci Zola and Crema di Zucca...
The spinaci wasn't as good as it was..it was a little dry....
The patatas was crunchy and has a weird tangy dip which I end up loving as I eat it....
The soup was really good and my kid loved it...
Here come's the main course...we ordered 3 pasta dishes.....
the Linguine La Foresta is fine, but I think it lacks more sauce the way I wanted it...
Not sure if this is the Farfalle alla Genovese but this is the pasta I enjoyed the most because of the pesto sauce... Maybe I'm tired of eating tomato sauce and white sauce based pastas.....

They also served different kinds of pizzas......

We had the Pizza Margherita, Prosciutto di Parma and I forgot the name of the other one that has anchovies on it which I think is the best.

AND FOR DESSERT! I used my last voucher for Cheesecake etc. and gave my sister banana cream pie....
It looks delicious, but I never heard any compliment from anyone after they tasted it. Sorry, but I had tasted better ones...but it is worth since I got it for 50% off.
Before we got home....we dropped by at banapple because the husband of my sister got her the banoffee pie that she has been craving for...

Here is the website for CIBO for those who are in the mood for some Italian cuisine...
And get a sweet kick at Banapple http://www.banapplekitchen.com/Banapple.html
and Cheesecake etc....http://www.cheesecake-etc.com/

MY FOOD MOTTO: Dine at your own risk! We all have different tastes so maybe you would like some of those I don't or vice versa so just freely explore and give everything a try..if it sucks, then don't eat it again...unless of course..it is FREE! :)

Eastwood (it was) too good to last!

Do you believe that small miracles happen everyday? ......I DO!
but there are times that I get so overwhelmed with my problems and focus more on what I don't have to not see the good things that God gave to me.

I was supposed to buy flu shot from my colleague because her dad works for a huge pharmaceutical company but she told me they have allotted flu shot for the employees and their families and she included us in the list...AWESOME!

I had a tight budget then so I was hesitant to go but I would be stupid to let this opportunity pass me by. I thought it was all about the flu shot, but it was also the....FIRST TIME for my kid and mom to get to EASTWOOD!

He was excited posing at the tin pan alley not knowing he would get a flu shot....he cried endlessly until he saw mc donalds

We were supposed to go home already because my mom was tired and worried about my kid getting sick but when I found out it was her first time to get there I showed her the fountain and my kid had fun running around and doing model poses for the cam...oh boy!

While sitting beside the fountain..my kid spotted on the carousel located at the 3rd floor and dragged me there...here goes my 50 pesos.......

My mom was looking for the comfort room when my kid spotted on TIMEZONE! I am glad he still does not know the difference of real playing and pretending he is playing so I did not spend anything  but he had fun.........

He was having a blast until hisslippers snapped....
OH SNAP! I have to carry him til we get a ride home....

Many Firsts on a Saturday

It was the first of many things last Saturday...
It was my kid's first ride in a bus and he totally enjoyed seeing the big tv and having the aircon on top of his head....
It was his first time to hang out at the hotel....
He is everywhere...sitting on the table and chillin on the bed

Staying at the hotel won't be complete without taking a dip in the swimming pool...he had fun while my legs got tired bending to fit in the kiddie pool.....

Doing all of those got me hungry but I don't want to spend much money for food and decided to use the first voucher that I bought online....I paid 250 for 500 worth of food at cheesecake etc. My sister who is addicted to online shopping gave me 2 more vouchers so I chose sandwiches, pasta, rice and cakes so we can try them all....and guess what?

...I was disappointed

Maybe I have tasted better pastas, sandwiches and cakes that's  why I was not satisfied with it. Oh well, I shouldn't complain 'cos I got a good discount.
Can't wait to experience more first times....
Would it be a laid back trip to Jamaica or staying at the awesome underwater hotel in Fiji?

It surely is nice to dream but whatever first time's gonna happen..make it a good one please :)
